Social Workers

In Australia, a Social Worker is a degree qualified Allied Health professional. They need a university degree and specialise in work with individuals, families, groups and communities in the context of their physical, social and cultural environments, their past and current experiences, and their cultural and belief systems.

Some Social Workers are registered with the NDIS, some are not.
Though there is no legal registration requirement for Social Workers in any state of Australia, the professional body for Social Workers is the Australian Association of Social Workers. Membership of the AASW requires Social Workers to meet professional development and other requirements. If a Social Worker is a member of AASW this will be shown on their full profile.

A Social Worker who is not registered for behaviour support (Improved Relationships) is usually paid from your CB Daily Living Budget.
