Psychologists

In Australia, a Psychologist is a degree qualified Allied Health professional. They need a university degree and specialise in helping people and the community find solutions to real life problems such as improving mental health and wellbeing, learning, performance, relationships, and societal cohesiveness. Clinical Psychologists have completed additional study, and along with the above are able to make a diagnosis of certain conditions.

Some Psychologists are registered with the NDIS, some are not. We have verified with every listing on our site that Psychologists are appropriately registered.

To practice in Australia a Psychologist must be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, a part of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA).

A Psychologist who is not registered for behaviour support (Improved Relationships) is usually paid from your CB Daily Living Budget.
